Dear friends and colleages

Welcome to the Southwest Chapter covering the five states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma und Texas. Scientists from mostly the Dallas/Fort Worth Area have been meeting here for about a year in an informal setting. While it is difficult for many to attend face to face meetings, travel within the 5 states does occasionally permit some of us to meet and stay in touch with each-other. We know of Austrians in all these states and are interested in facilitating contact among our members within the metroplex, chapter and also with members of other chapters.

We are currently involved in an effort to make our organization better known among the people in the scientific community with ties to Austria and promote this website as a tool of integration for all seeking information or contact.

We cordially invite you to attend our meetings and hope that you will find an interest in joining our community here in the Southwest. Whether you choose to join our online community or seek to attend our meetings, we are looking forward to hear from you.
