Description
With around 50 members at institutions such as Columbia, NYU, Rockefeller, Princeton, Yale, UConn, CUNY, Mount Sinai, and countless others, our goal is to provide an opportunity to network among peers. So far, our meetings have mainly social character, but we envision an informal lecture series to be held by members in the near future. Thursday, May 23, 2006:
Consul General Dr. Brigitta Blaha entertained the Greater New York Chapter together with the Science Attaché to the United States, Dr. Philipp Steger, with a reception at her private residence. The event was well attended and provided a good opportunity to network as well as to strengthen the ties with the official representative in New York.
