ASciNA Awards Ceremony

Get ready to celebrate brilliant young minds at the upcoming ASciNA Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 19 November 2026, in Vienna!

This event marks the highly anticipated moment where the winners of the 2026 ASciNA Awards will finally be revealed.
The honors will be personally presented by Austria’s Federal Minister for Women, Science and Research, Eva-Maria Holzleitner, BSc.

Why These Awards Matter

Since 2008, Austrian Scientists and Scholars in North America (ASciNA), with generous support from the Federal Ministry for Women, Science, and Research (BMFWF) and in cooperation with the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), has been awarding three highly endowed prizes for outstanding scientific work by Austrian scientists in North America (the U.S., Canada, and Mexico):

• One prize in the amount of 10,000 EUR in the “Junior Principal Investigator” category
• Two equal prizes of 7,500 EUR each in the “Young Scientists” category
