Faculty Position – The University of Innsbruck invites applications for the position of University Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy. It is a position in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities’ Act (Universitätsgesetz – UG) and will be based on a civil-law employment contract with the University on the basis of the Salaried Employees Act (Angestelltengesetz). The contract will be concluded for an unlimited period; the extent of employment is 100%.

Als Rektorin oder Rektor wird eine Persönlichkeit mit ausgewiesener wissenschaftlicher Reputation, internationaler Erfahrung und der Fähigkeit zur organisatorischen und wirtschaftlichen Leitung einer Universität gesucht. Voraussetzung ist ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium, Kenntnisse des österreichischen und europäischen Universitätssystems und Erfahrung in der Leitung von Institutionen.

Die Professur soll am gleichlautenden Department an der Fakultät für Wirtschaft und Globalisierung nachbesetzt werden. In diesem Department kommt die Forschungsexpertise der Universität für Weiterbildung Krems (UWK) auf den Gebieten der Europa- und Demokratieforschung zur Anwendung und wird sichtbar gemacht und gestärkt.
